Founded in 2009, PLF became one of the few Vietnamese law firms of international standard and now gathers over 15 legal professionals. PLF’s practice focuses on Corporate and M&A, Banking and Finance and Intellectual Property. The Firm also provides outsourced in-house counsel services to corporations and acts as a legal department with the advantages of a law firm. In February 2017, PLF entered into association with LawPlus Ltd., a highly recognized leading law firm in Thailand and Myanmar to provide legal counsel to SMEs and international corporations. Then, in March 2017, PLF was granted by the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam the right to represent foreign and Vietnamese individuals and enterprises to establish and enforce industrial property rights. Besides, PLF launched in April 2018 the first online legal tutorials in Vietnam. Many law firms were already providing guidelines for doing business, but PLF’s legal tutorials innovate as they are very concise (only 2-3 lines each paragraph), try to avoid legalese and include many graphics. Moreover, many Vietnamese leading media (such as Vietnam News) seek advice from PLF and publish the firm’s articles.
