 Contribute to strategic planning and decision making for the Consulate-General including assisting
with the development and implementation of strategic research and communications priorities
 Research and analyse developments and report findings in areas of interest, including on economic,
trade, investment, science & technology and innovation areas
 Initiate, develop and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders in sectors of interest,
including with government, business, cultural institutions, suppliers, contractors, sponsors and
event partners
 Monitor local and international media and report on items of foreign and trade policy interest
 Arrange travel programs and briefing materials for visiting Australian officials
 Arrange HOP travel programs and briefing materials, and undertake travel to southern provinces,
as required
 Assist in the successful delivery of the Australian Consulate-General’s public diplomacy events,
including Australia Day Community Event, ‘Taste of Australia’ program of events and others
 Provide interpretation services including translation of official correspondence as required
 Assist with program arrangements for parliamentary and official visits as a protocol officer and act
as an interpreter

YÊU CẦU CÔNG VIỆC

Demonstrated experience providing research and analysis on issues in English
 Demonstrated high-level written and verbal English and Vietnamese language skills
 Demonstrated ability to develop stakeholder networks
 Experience working in communications, including digital communications
 Qualifications in research, communications, media or related field would be an advantage
